Holafly review 2026: is unlimited eSIM data worth the price?
Holafly sells unlimited data by the day. We look at prices, hotspot limits, speeds and support, and work out when Holafly beats pay-per-gigabyte providers.
Holafly is a Spanish eSIM provider founded in 2018. Its whole pitch is simple: pick a destination and a number of days, and get unlimited data for that period in 160+ destinations.
Verdict
Holafly is a great fit for heavy users, remote workers and anyone who hates counting gigabytes. On short trips with light use it costs more than per-GB providers such as Airalo. Our score: 4.5 / 5.
Pros
- Truly simple choice: destination plus number of days.
- No need to watch your data balance — streaming and video calls are fine.
- Monthly plans for digital nomads and long stays.
- 24/7 support via chat.
Cons
- Pricier than Airalo or Yesim if you only need a few gigabytes.
- Hotspot sharing is limited on most plans.
- Data-only, no local phone number.
When Holafly is worth it
Do the maths: if you use more than about 1.5 GB per day, a daily unlimited plan from around $6 per day usually works out cheaper than buying gigabytes. If you mostly use hotel Wi-Fi and only need maps and messengers, a small per-GB pack is better value.
💡 Tip: Planning to share data with a laptop? Check the hotspot allowance for your destination before you buy — it differs between plans.
